Acceptance of terms
By accessing layerwatch.dev, joining the waitlist, or using any tool we publish (the browser extension, the MCP proxy, or any future Layerwatch product), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.
Description of service
Layerwatch provides runtime visibility and trust tooling for AI coding agents. Today that includes this website, an early-access waitlist, and a free, open-source browser extension. Additional tools, including an open-source MCP proxy, are under active development.
Early access & beta disclaimer
Our products are under active, early-stage development. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice, and we make no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or continuity of service. Use in production environments is at your own risk.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use our services. If you're using them on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer our tools with the intent to bypass their security or licensing controls.
- Misrepresent your identity to abuse the waitlist or early-access process.
Intellectual property
The Layerwatch name, logo, and branding are the property of Layerwatch. Source code we publish as open source is made available under the license included in each respective repository; where no license file is present, no rights beyond viewing the source are granted.
Third-party services & links
Our site and tools may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, Formspree and Cloudflare). We aren't responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.
Disclaimer of warranties
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Layerwatch will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our services.
Termination
We may suspend or discontinue access to any part of our services, including the waitlist, at any time, for any reason, without liability.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify the waitlist by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
